Brexit, Trump, and the curse of age

When we are young we crave broad horizons, challenges, and the thrill of the next thing.

As we age we seek familiarity, comfort, and the satisfaction of the same thing.

Democracy and the economy are dynamic; bureaucracy and stale businesses aren't.

The median age of the United States has increased to 38 years from 28 years in 1970.

Oscar Wilde said, “With age comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone." And alone is a terrible state.
